Jayani’s Army Fund is being established by the Seth family and Jayani’s Army Incorporated, to provide financial support to the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancers and Blood Disorders, and to assist families coping with the stress of caring for a child who is battling childhood cancer or blood disorders.   The fund will be used to renovate/refresh the service area of the Family Waiting Room, which contains a kitchenette and washer/dryer for the use of families.  Funds may also be used for support of the Family Waiting Area such as the purchase of equipment and supplies; to provide support programs and services for families and caregivers; and for other expenses relating to Jayani’s Army fundraising activities.

The Fund is being established with funds raised by Jayani’s Army Inc.  Jayani’s Army Inc. was established in 2007 by Ajay and Kim Seth, in memory of their daughter, Jayani Asha Seth, who was a patient at the Showers Family Center but unfortunately passed away from Cancer at the tender age of just 17 months old.
