Formerly known as the Change Bandit program, this year-round initiative uses online crowd funding as a way for participants ‒ called KDD Change Makers ‒ to raise funds for Akron Children’s Hospital.
Akron Children's Hospital is ranked among the best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. With more than a million patient visits a year, they’ve been leading the way to healthier futures for children through quality patient care, education, advocacy, community service and medical discovery since 1890. Everything they do is based on their founding promises – to treat every child as they would their own, to treat others as they would like to be treated, and to turn no child away for any reason.
