Thank you for visiting my Children's Champion page where I'm tracking my fundraising and training for the FirstEnergy Akron Marathon.This is my second year participating.  As a volunteer at Akron Children's Hosptial for the past 14 years, I've learned how fortunate we are to have this wonderful facility in our area. 

While Children's is ranked among the best children's hospitals in the country, it's their compassionate approach to treatment that makes them truly exceptional. Through a combination of revolutionary treatments and extraordinary patient experience, their care does more than heal. It brings the entire family together for the emotional support and understanding across multiple locations to reach families in the communities where they live.
