Clubs for Kids Golf Classic

Clubs for Kids* begins with registration and lunch, followed by a shotgun start at noon. A cocktail reception and dinner immediately follow the day of golf and fun. The evening features a live and silent auction along with the presentation of prizes. A limited number of reception-only tickets are available.

A youth clinic is held prior to the adult event. The clinic features stations for young golfers in the following age groups: 6 - 8 years, 9 - 11 years and 12 - 14 years. Instruction includes an observation station focusing on grip, stance, posture and alignment, a hands-on chipping and pitching instruction station and a putting contest. A limited number of spots are available.

Akron Children's Hospital has been hosting this special fundraising event since 2011. This year's proceeds from the event will support the Akron Children's Mahoning Valley Emergency Department Fund, which provides funding for the expansion project of Emergency Department at Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley.
